The Phoenix 2 is a comprehensive upgrade of the multi-award winning Phoenix MAP. It has a shell with a robust hybrid construction and a one-of-a-kind interior. Increased impact protection - even in multiple impacts - thanks to MARKER MAP Protection cushions positioned at all critical points around the head. The 360° edge protection not only provides a first-class appearance, but also protects the interior of the helmet from ageing. The 360° RTS FIT SYSTEM allows the helmet to be adjusted to the shape of the head and centred for an optimum fit, pleasant wearing comfort and seating without looseness or misalignment. Thanks to the MarkAIR two-stage ventilation system with an adjustment slider, the climate in the helmet can be adjusted at any time. In addition, it allows air to flow into the goggles, thus completely preventing fogging. The goggle band is held in place by an improved clip with a low-profile design to prevent goggle loss. The proven FIDLOCK latch on the chin strap can be operated with one hand even with thick gloves, making it easy to put on and take off. Another feature is the 3D-modelled, pressure-free SoGnar ear muffs, which allow different configurations depending on temperature, head shape and use of glasses or sunglasses. Clearly better audibility than before is ensured in each configuration. Naturally, the SoGnar ear cushions are completely removable. The Phoenix 2 Mips is supplied with two washable interchangeable inserts: the perfectly sweat-absorbing Xdry insert and a softer and warmer fleece version. Both are conveniently interchangeable.
